BARKY–DOGZ

Est. 2013 · Fortuna, California

A small room where
everyone talks.

A grooming salon is a small town’s newsroom. People wait, dogs get beautiful, and everything gets said out loud. We have been doing it on 1041 Main Street since 2013.

The room is deliberately small. We take one dog at a time, which means nobody is stacked in a crate waiting for a turn and nobody is rushed through a trim to make room for the next appointment.

Most of our regulars found us because someone else’s dog came home looking better than usual and they asked where it had been. That is still, more or less, the entire marketing plan.
